One Bank, One Army, One Center of Power

Who?
The Council on Foreign Relations. The Driver: Agent Rockefeller

How?

Zeitgeist, the movie

Why? POWER.

"For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents such as my encounter with Castro to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it." - From Rockefeller's "Memoirs", (p.405).

Just the facts:

The CFR is the U.S. equivalent to the Royal Institute of International Affairs (RIIA) in Great Britain. Professor Carroll Quigley explains:

"At the end of the war of 1914, it became clear that the organization of this system had to be greatly extended... the tasks was entrusted to Lionel Curtis who established, in England and each dominion, a front organization to the existing local Round Table Group. This front organization called the Royal Institute of International Affairs, had as its nucleus in each area the existing submerged Round Table Group. In New York it was known as the Council on Foreign Relations, and was a front for J. P. Morgan and Company.... In fact, the original plans for the Royal Institute of International Affairs and the Council on Foreign Relations were drawn up at Paris." "Tragedy and the Hope", Carroll Quigley, 951-952.

Banks and tax-exempt foundations were essential to this global vision:

"The powers of financial capitalism has another far reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole...."

"The apex of the system was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Bale, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank... sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards...." Carroll Quigley, 324

"In 1924, the chairman of the board of the Midland Bank said, "...banks can and do create money... And they who control the credit of the nation direct the policy of Government and hold in the hollow of their hands the destiny of the people." Carroll Quigley, 325

More Quotes:

"The real rulers in Washington are invisible and exercise power from behind the scenes." Justice Felix Frankfurter (1882-1965) U.S. Supreme Court Justice

"The ruling class has the schools and press under its thumb. This enables it to sway the emotions of the masses." Albert Einstein

"To achieve world government, it is necessary to remove from the minds of men, their individualism, loyalty to family traditions, national patriotism and religious dogmas." G. Brock Chisholm, co-founder of the World Federation for Mental Health, former director of UN World Health Organization

"Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people. To destroy this invisible government, to befoul the unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics is the first task of the statesmanship of the day. " Theodore Roosevelt, April 19, 1906

"The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country." Edward Bernays, Propaganda (1928)

"The Trilateral Commission doesn't run the world, the Council on Foreign Relations does that!"
Winston Lord, Assistant Secretary of State, the U. S. State Department

"In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happened, you can bet it was planned that way." Franklin Delano Roosevelt (1882-1945), 32nd US President

"The American people should be made aware of the trend toward monopolization of the great public information vehicles and the concentration of more and more power over public opinion in fewer and fewer hands." Spiro Agnew, U. S. Vice-President, 13 November 1969

"In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill ... All these dangers are caused by human intervention and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour that they can be overcome. The real enemy, then, is humanity itself." Alexander King, Bertrand Schneider - founder and secretary, respectively, of the Club of Rome - The First Global Revolution, pp.104-105

"Electronic communication and rapid transportation make possible a stifling world government. Techniques such as genetic engineering, psychoactive drugs and electronic control of the brain make possible a transformation of the species into docile, fully-obedient, 'safe' organisms." William Sims Bainbridge

"I have the greatest admiration for your propaganda. Propaganda in the West is carried out by experts who have had the best training in the world — in the field of advertizing — and have mastered the techniques with exceptional proficiency ... Yours are subtle and persuasive; ours are crude and obvious ... I think that the fundamental difference between our worlds, with respect to propaganda, is quite simple. You tend to believe yours ... and we tend to disbelieve ours." Soviet correspondent based five years in the U.S.

"The Trilateralist Commission is international... [and] ...is intended to be the vehicle for multinational consolidation of the commercial and banking interests by seizing control of the political government of the United States. The Trilateralist Commission represents a skillful, coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of power - political, monetary, intellectual, and ecclesiastical."
Barry Goldwater (1909-1998) US Senator (R-Arizona), in his book "With No Apologies"

"The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy legs over our cities states and nation. At the head is a small group of banking houses generally referred to as 'international bankers.' This little coterie... run our government for their own selfish ends. It operates under cover of a self-created screen...[and] seizes...our executive officers... legislative bodies... schools... courts... newspapers and every agency created for the public protection." John F. Hylan, Mayor of New York (1918-1925), in speech on March 26, 1922
